It may look nice out there now but things are about to change weather-wise.

Southern Alberta RCMP are preparing for the potential of a spring storm, which may bring with it treacherous road conditions, in the upcoming 48 hours.

They say traditionally, the region between Airdrie and Innisfail on the QEII has been an area of great concern.

They suggest if you don't have to travel, please stay home.

If you must travel, RCMP want to advise motorists to use extreme caution, slow down and maintain an increased distance between yourself and other drivers.
